Mission

HEAL (Health, Education and Leadership) International is a non-denominational organization based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that responds to local priorities in Uganda. We respond by building on strengths and providing opportunities through the support of education, health initiatives and leadership development.

We believe

  • Health and education should be viewed from its broadest perspective and as assets for community development
  • In a wide view of educational opportunities from primary to post-secondary education, including practical vocational training; and
  • In addition to children, families and communities must also benefit
